CURRENT HVAC REBATES IN OTTAWA

The Home Renovation Savings Program will be launching on January 28, 2025, offering rebates of up to 30% on home energy efficiency upgrades. These improvements include new windows, doors, insulation, air sealing, smart thermostats, and heat pumps, as well as solar panels, rooftop battery storage, and more. This initiative is designed to help homeowners reduce energy costs while enhancing the comfort and sustainability of their homes.

Canadian homeowners may be eligible for an upfront payment of up to $10,000 to replace their oil heating with energy-efficient heat pumps.

The Oil to Heat Pump Affordability (OHPA) program helps homeowners currently using oil heating transition to eligible electric heat pump systems. This change can lead to significant savings on heating costs each year while also reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
